1 life fell on the road in Valuka, 5 injured including the driver

A passenger named Sufia Khatun (60) lost her life in a three-way collision involving a CNG, battery-powered auto-rickshaw and a motorcycle in Bhaluka, Mymensingh. Five people including the driver were seriously injured in the incident.

The accident took place in front of Rangchapara Bhaluka Feedmill on Bhaluka-Gafargaon road on Friday (October 11) morning.

The injured persons are Zahirul Islam (25) son of Rafiqul Islam of Kawraid village of Sripur upazila, Saheb Ali (70) son of deceased Hamed Ali of Shailat village, Roni Mia (25) son of Liton Mia of Gafargaon Pagla police station, Huda Mia’s wife Parveen (45) and Hossainpur of Kishoreganj. Suraiya (35), wife of Rubel Mia of Upazila.

The injured were rescued and admitted to Bhaluka Health Complex and Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

SI Noor Kashem of Bhaluka Model Police Station said that a woman passenger of CNG died after rescuing the injured in the accident and taking them to Bhaluka Government Hospital. Other injured passengers were sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
