The accident occurred at around 19:00 on the 10th kilometer of the Konya-Adana highway. The police midibus with plate number 42 BZ 693, belonging to Konya Police Department, collided with the car with plate number 07 BPR 219, driven by Fahri A., while turning at the intersection. Upon notice, many ambulances and police teams were dispatched to the scene. During the check made by the paramedics who came to the region, it was determined that Sebahat Filiz (73), who was a passenger in the car, died at the scene, while 11 injured people, 7 of whom were police officers, were sent to various hospitals in the city by ambulances. After the examination, Filiz’s body was taken to Konya Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy.
The police launched an investigation into the accident.
