The 1000 Milesthe Most beautiful race in the worldhas opened registration for the 2025 race, which will be held from 17 to 21 June. You have until 4pm on Thursday to submit applications January 16th 2025, while the confirmation of acceptance, with consequent publication of theList of admitted vehicleswill happen by April 4.
Among the new features planned for this 40th edition, which for the third consecutive year offers the five-day competition format, there is something new figure eight path inspired by the one from the original pre-war editions.
1000 Miglia 2025, how to sign up
To register for the fortieth edition of the 1000 Miglia, as every year, it is essential to possess, or have requested, the certificate from the 1000 Miglia Registerregister on the appropriate site and pay the relevant fee quota registration form, which for 2025 has been modified with the addition of a specification for crews under 30.
The car models that can participate have already been decided and you can find them in detail in PDF attached at the end of this article.
Meanwhile, the 1000 Miglia Warm Up took place in the United States in October, a series of tests that rewarded the winners with six guarantees of admission to the actual race. Among the many crews that competed for admission, they triumphed in the category Veteran (which includes the crews in which at least one driver has participated in no less than two 1000 Miglia in the last ten years) the historic crew Till-Till, Stephen and Kim Bruno on a 1955 Mercedes 300 SL, while in the category Novice the prize was obtained by the Paterniti-Wilson couple, in a 1954 Jaguar XK 120, and Luther-Meldau, in a Porsche 356.

For the Class Post 1000 Miglia Era (post 1958 vehicles) the prize was awarded to the Cereghini-Lersner team, on a 2020 Ferrari F8 Tributo in the category Veteranand to the Robinson-Woodward team, on a 1967 Porsche 912 in the category Novice.

1000 Miglia 2025, the route and the race days
The route of the 1000 Miglia 2025 has already been announced: the race will begin Tuesday 17 June a Brescia and, passing through Desenzano, Sirmione, Verona and Ferrara, it will cross the first stage finish line in San Lazzaro di Savena (Bologna).
The following day, that is Wednesday 18 Junethe crews will tackle the traditional passes of Futa and Raticosa, then arriving in Prato and Siena to finally aim as usual for Romawhere the participating vintage cars will parade on the via Veneto ramp.
On the third day, the convoy will return to Orvieto, Foiano della Chiana and Sansepolcro, after which the 1000 Miglia 2025 will return to the territory of the Republic of San Marino before concluding the day in Cervia-Milano Marittima.
On the fourth day, that of Friday 20 Junethe race will touch Forlì and, once crossed the Apennines, it will move on to Empoli and Pontedera before reaching the Tyrrhenian Sea with the passage throughNaval Academy of the Navy in Livorno.
And just on Friday the new one figure eight path of the 1000 Miglia 2025 will see the main innovations, when, at the height of the city of Empoli, the uphill route will cross the one followed during the downhill and the race will complete the entire crossing of Italy from East to West. Finally, at the end of the day, the crews will go up the peninsula crossing the cities of Viareggio and the Cisa Pass, to reach the city of Parma.
On Saturday 21 June, the fifth and final morning of the race, we will drive to Brescia, which again this year will be the finishing point of the approximately 1,900 km ride.
