125 Years of FIAT: historical exhibition at the MAUTO and Heritage Hub in Turin

Turin celebrates 125 years of FIAT with a series of events that celebrate the history and innovation of the famous Italian brand. From November 15, 2024 to May 4, 2025, the ARMY – National Automobile Museum – will host the exhibition “125 TIMES FIAT. Modernity through FIAT imagery”. The exhibition, curated by Giuliano Sergio and created in collaboration with the FIAT Historic Centre e l’Heritage HUBoffers a fascinating journey through the milestones of the Turin car manufacturer.

The exhibition explores FIAT’s role in the modernization of Italy, emphasizing its cultural and industrial impact. Through eight thematic macro-sections, visitors will be able to admire nine iconic models, including the 508 Balillathe 500 To Mickey Mouse and the Panda 30up to the modern Fiat 500e, symbol of Made in Italy and bestseller among electric city cars. The exhibition itinerary is enriched by works of art, archive materials, photographs and audiovisual documents that tell over a century of history. To accompany the event, five meetings organized with the University of Turin will explore the central themes of the exhibition.

At the same time, the Heritage Hub offers the exhibition “UNUSUAL AND SURPRISING FIATS”, which invites you to discover the brand’s lesser-known models. A unique exhibition highlights FIAT’s design audacity, ranging from the concept car Fiat Scia from 1993 to the futuristic Vanzic of 1995. Among the models on display, the Fiat 520, the versatile 600 Multipla and the 500 Barbie Editionsymbol of the pop and creative spirit of the brand.

The experience continues at the FIAT Historic Center, where unpublished materials selected in collaboration with ISMEL will be exhibited, offering an in-depth vision of the link between FIAT and the culture of Italian work.
