13 Romanian startups have reached the final phase of the Go Global business tech accelerator

The 13 selected companies, out of several dozen that applied to the Go Global program, operate in various fields: health, environment, IT and finance.

The selected startups are in the phase where they are looking for methods and financial resources that will allow them to expand to other markets, their cumulative turnover is now only 10 million euros.

The founders of the selected startups will participate, between February 24 and 27, 2025, at a business accelerator organized in Milanwhere they will meet with investors and mentors specialized in international business expansion.

Go Global is a business acceleration project based on the latest technologies, a project designed by UPGRADE 100 and of How to Webcoordinated by the investment fund Arieli Capital and supported by Raiffeisen Bank Romania and of AmCham Romania.

Who are the 13 finalists?

The finalists were selected following a process that took place over several months, during which interviews or meetings took place, such as a recent meet-up where the atmosphere was like this:

But here is the list of 13 startups that managed to reach the final stage of the acceleration project Go Globalaccording to the decision taken by the project board:

  • Oveit. The company operates in the field of IT & Services and offers its customers the possibility to automate sales and payments for various objectives or events. To date, it has generated over $4 million in revenue and raised approximately $2.2 million in funding.
  • Revelio. It is a health and wellness startup that, through personalized guidance and motivation, encourages its customers to adopt healthy lifestyle habits.
  • Sigtree is a real estate startup. It works as a platform software as a service (SaaS) intended to facilitate the activity of real estate agents and owners. The company had revenues of about $800,000 and attracted nearly $500,000 in investment.
  • Lendox is a financial services company. It evolved from iFactor and is a startup that aims to support SMEs looking for funding. It provides SMEs with smart lending solutions designed to simplify the process by accessing a range of AI-based tools.
  • Factory is an IT & Services company, part of the first wave of Industry 4.0 startups. In the vision of the founders Vlad Cazan and Adrian Dima, the future of this industry is linked to the adoption of new technologies, such as machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI). Founded in 2017, the K.Factory platform uses new technologies to facilitate the work of manufacturing companies, their management and employees.
  • RepsMate is a startup active in telecommunications, with revenues of over 1.7 million euros. RepsMate is a conversation platform based on artificial intelligence. It can be integrated into pre-existing telephone, chat and email systems.
  • Plant an App. This software company helps its customers fill the “gaps” in the systems they use, with the help of automations, integrations and applications. Founder Bogdan Lițescu announced that Plant an App had revenues of 6 million dollars and collected investments of over 1.2 million dollars.
  • Sales Partner is an API-based sales platform for players in the automotive industry – from manufacturers to importers, and from dealers to the end buyer, all in an easy-to-understand and easy-to-use digital ecosystem.
  • Irisphera is a fashion startup. It is aimed at those who are fond of online shopping but have trouble finding clothes that suit their tastes and looks. Essentially, the company proposes a virtual stylist, available 24/7, which offers the customer including 3D tools to try on the desired clothing.
  • Data Sweep is a startup that aims to revolutionize the field of research. The company uses artificial intelligence to search, “clean” and merge relevant data sets into a single file. Thus, the user saves time and energy, being protected, at the same time, from potential human errors specific to this field.
  • Mommy Hey! is an innovative mobile application for parents: it provides them with the necessary resources to organize their family life more efficiently. Thus, users have direct access and are kept up to date with the latest children’s activities, playgrounds, recreational events, workshops, classes, parties and shows.
  • Recycllux comes up with a comprehensive, data-driven approach to tackling plastic pollution of the seas and oceans. The company streamlines ocean cleanup through advanced Earth observation, machine learning and blockchain technologies. Algorithms analyze satellite data to identify marine areas with plastic waste, then the portal connects responsible companies and administrations, fishing vessels, NGOs and recyclers, all to facilitate comprehensive clean-up interventions.
  • Ruuts is a complete booking hub focused on slow travel, authentic local experiences, RV rentals and more.

This is the list of 13 startups that convinced boardul Go Global that they have the potential to become projects with an international impact.

Acceleration program designed by Arieli Capital is present – beyond Romania – in Italy, the Czech Republic and Slovenia, as well as in the American state of Utah.

On these markets, the accelerator that in Romania operates under the name Go Global made possible investments that already total hundreds of millions of dollars.

With us, the acceleration program has a duration of 5 months: it consists of the pre-selection, the determination of the finalists and then an intensive internship that will take place in Milan, between February 24 and 27, 2025.
