14 cows stolen in Patenga found in Comilla, 2 arrested

14 cows stolen from Chittagong’s Patenga Dairy Farm were found in Comilla. At this time, the police arrested 2 people of the cow thief gang.

The cows were recovered from Chandina in Comilla district during an operation by Patenga police station on Tuesday (November 26) evening. CMP Bandar Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) Shakila Soltana confirmed the matter.

He said that the theft of 14 cows at midnight on the last 24th went viral on social media. In view of this, on November 25, when a case was registered at the Patenga police station, the police started an investigation.

Later, on the basis of intelligence, the police arrested two members of the thief gang from a market area of ​​Chandina in Comilla district. According to the information provided by them, they managed to rescue the cows.

He also said that the rescued cows are being brought to Chittagong.
