You are passionate about Batman and do you want to give yourself an early Christmas present? Here’s something for you. If you have 3 million dollars from the side (around 2.7 million euros), you can win one of the ten Batmobile versions Tumbler made in 1:1 scale.
Yes, the very car that appeared in the films directed by Christopher Nolan, in perfect working order and with attention to every detail. It’s just a shame that it isn’t approved for road use.
A 532 HP toy
The very limited edition production is the result of the agreement between Warner Bros. and Action Vehicle Engineering, which was responsible for giving life to the Batmobile that appeared in Batman Begins e The Dark Knight. The 4.64 m long and 2.82 m wide body, the individual details, the interior and the tires are a faithful reproduction of the original model, while under the bonnet there is a real engine.

The Batmobile from “The Dark Knight” becomes reality
No, there are no jet turbines that emit flames. Instead, the car is powered by a 6.2 V8 of General Motors origin with 532 HP and 659 Nm, the same found on the Chevrolet Corvette C6 and on the fifth generation of Camaro SS (albeit with different powers). The horsepower – discharged to the ground through a 4-speed automatic gearbox – may seem like a lot, but keep in mind that the mass to be moved is important, given that we are talking about more 2.5 tons.
That said, the Batmobile features a tubular chassis with aeronautical-derived steel and various Kevlar, carbon fiber and fiberglass elements. Interior photos have not been published, but the manufacturers talk about two screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment and Alcantara upholstery. And there is also air conditioning.
How to have it
If your bank account allows it, to become one of the ten lucky people in the world to own this Batmobile, all you have to do is register on the official auction site and enter your personal information. You will subsequently be contacted by the organization, which will verify your “economic credentials”. At a later stage, the ten lucky ones will be selected, drawn at random from the site.
According to the little information available, delivery of the Batmobile is estimated at 15 months, with the buyer receiving it directly at home, complete with a unique serial number on the bodywork.
