20-year-old boy throws himself from a bridge into the Volturno river: research underway

The episode occurred yesterday evening in Capua, in the Caserta area. The firefighters, with the Diving Unit, are on site searching for the 20-year-old, who is still missing.

Fear for the fate of a boy of around 20 years old who, yesterday evening, Thursday 10 October, threw himself into the Volturno river. Around 9pm, in front of dozens of people, the young man got on the bus Roman bridge in Capuain the province of Caserta, and dived into the river, without re-emerging. It was precisely the passers-by, who witnessed the scene astonished and helpless, who alerted the emergency services: a team of firefighters from the Provincial Command of Caserta intervened on the spot in the first instance.

The search for the 20-year-old started suddenly; The firefighters of the River Unit with a dinghy and those of the Naples Diving Unit also intervened on site to support the fire brigade team. At the moment, there is still no trace of the young man; research is still ongoing.
