A 20-year-old man was acquitted of approving terrorism in the Court at Frederiksberg on Friday.
On 7 October 2023, the young man had commented on the headline ‘Israel attacked with missiles’ on Ekstra Bladet’s Facebook page by writing ‘Sådan’ – followed by a strong arm and a Palestinian flag. This, the prosecution believed, was an “express endorsement of terror”, which is punishable by up to three years in prison.
