Chapter Restaurant & Bar (Hotel Mundial) – Lisbon
The trip begins in the cloister of the Hotel Mundial, where there will be dishes designed by Vítor Sobral such as marinated oysters, tiger prawns or salted caramel pie, with various sparkling wines and wines. From 11:15 pm until 2 am the party continues at Rooftop Bar Mundial with exclusive access to the Premium Space.
The Lince Santa Clara Historic Hotel – Vila do Conde
A live show by Pedro Abrunhosa, a gala dinner, fireworks and a party with an open bar late into the night is the five-star hotel’s program inspired by the “Fairy Tale Fantasy” theme. The exclusive menu is designed by Júlia Oliveira, who includes scallops, sea bass with champagne and caviar and veal with foie gras and black truffle.
Saboaria Boutique Hotel – Porto
The hotel promises a peaceful place to gather friends and family. The former soap factory has a New Year’s Eve proposal with “comfort and sophistication”. The restaurant team prepared a special menu with options such as wild mushroom brioche, truffle and egg yolk or lobster tortelini.
São José do Barrilário Farm – Armamar
The new five-star hotel in Douro proposes to revive the magic of the musical Grease on your first New Year’s Eve. The hotel marks the beginning of 2025 with walks, workshops, show cooking, wine tasting, meditation classes, photography competitions and a gala dinner. The program begins on December 29th with a harmonized wine tasting and a movie night to relive the classic musical.
Terreiro do Paço – Lisbon
The proposal comes from Lisbon City Council and, as in previous years, the party takes place in Praça do Comércio. This time, Portuguese rock pioneer, singer and composer José Cid opens the stage at 9:30 pm with some guests and, just after midnight, pop musician Mickael Carreira enters the scene.
Desarma (The Views Baía) – Funchal
The year-end party at the restaurant is called “Última Investida” and was prepared by chef Octávio Freitas. There are six moments, harmonized by the sommelier, in a dinner where the watchword is surrender. The Madeiran hotel promises “an onslaught” that will leave guests “completely disarmed”.
Lota da Esquina – Cascais
Vítor Sobral’s restaurant will have the band 2U (tribute to U2) right after the signature dinner. The idea is to embark on a gastronomic journey with dishes such as bluefin tuna tartar with citrus fruits and Kaluga caviar or cork oak pastries with truffle mayonnaise. The view is privileged to the fireworks in Cascais bay.
Herdade da Rocha – Crato
The Boutique Lodge Hotel has designed a New Year’s Eve complete with personalized menus and the possibility of staying in one of the recently opened villas. The program combines dinner with the sound of ambient music to welcome 2025. The accommodation allows group reservations of up to 20 adults.
Quinta do Portal – Sabrosa
The company The Fladgate Partnership prepared the farewell to 2024 with dinner and a party with music, fireworks and an open bar. In the restaurant’s kitchen, chef Milton Ferreira created an exclusive menu with several moments, which combines tradition, seasonality and unlikely combinations.
Senhora da Rosa Tradition & Nature Hotel – São Miguel
The hotel in São Miguel, in the Azores, has designed a special program with a meal that will bring together the chefs of its two restaurants: Magma for regional Azorean cuisine and Mirante for Asian cuisine. The end of the year can also include accommodation.
Epur – Lisbon
The Michelin-starred restaurant led by chef Vincent Farges, recently acquired by Casa do Marquês, designed a menu that reflects the French chef’s signature. Each dish will be paired with a selection of Portuguese wines. The privileged view of Lisbon and the Tagus River serves as the setting for the midnight fireworks show.
Albar House – The Monumental Palace – Porto
The hotel offers an intimate dinner at the Michelin-starred Le Monument restaurant. Chefs Julien and Joana Montbabut, together with sommelier Diogo Pereira, prepared a selection in which food and wine are the stars of an evening with entertainment and interaction with the kitchen team.
Sála – Lisbon
Chef João Sá invites lovers of haute cuisine to a menu with products such as wagyu, beluga caviar, black truffle and lobster. Among other dishes, cauliflower, spider crab, Oscietra caviar, potato and black truffle croissant or sea bass, flavors of stew and bivalves.
Company House – Porto
Casa da Companhia, right in the center of the port on Rua das Flores, celebrates the season with a menu specially designed with seasonal products and creative combinations. At the special New Year’s dinner, the theme is the festive spirit of the Hollywood Oscar gala, which will be present in the decoration and the DJ’s musical selection.
Sublime Comporta – Alcácer do Sal
The idea behind the house is lit fireplaces, comforting aromas and activities for all ages. There are two options to welcome 2025: a dinner in the intimate and authentic environment of Sem Porta and the Food Circle experience where you want a unique dinner in harmony with nature. The party extends to the Sublime Comporta Beach Club, with an Amazonian theme.
Torel Avantgarde – Porto
Chef João Figueirinhas from the hotel on Rua da Restauração suggests a multi-course dinner that includes oyster, lobster, pigeon and fish. All with drinks included and a private place for the fireworks display in Ribeira. Further down Rua de Mouzinho da Silveira, chef Miguel Neto, from Bartolomeu Bistro & Wine, part of the same Torel group, serves pink shrimp, fish soup, cured lily and suckling pig belly.
