22-year-old survivor of October 7th massacre commits suicide on her birthday

A 22-year-old woman who managed to escape the slaughter of Hamas at the Supernova music festival on October 7 took her own life today on her birthday.

22-year-old Shirel Golan suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder and committed suicide today in her apartment. Her family reported that the girl was suffering from post-traumatic stress symptoms, and since the day she managed to escape from Hamas, she experienced dissociation and withdrawal symptoms and was hospitalized twice.

Her brother told Jewish media that “I saw that she had symptoms of post-traumatic stress, such as withdrawing and withdrawing from her friends. I asked her to take care of herself. He said he does not receive any help from the state. He said he only gets help from the Nova Tribe Community Association.’

And he continued: “If the state had taken care of her, none of this would have happened.”

At the same time, the Ministry of Welfare and Social Services denied the 22-year-old’s brother and said that he was cared for by the welfare system before and “especially after” from October 7.
