◆ Anguk Cultural Foundation, ‘AG New Artist Award’ Contest 2023 Grand Prize Winner Invitational Exhibition

The Anguk Cultural Foundation will be holding the ‘Agua Viva – Inaha’ exhibition as an invitational exhibition for the winner of the 2023 ‘AG New Artist Award’ contest at the AG Gallery until the 30th.

‘Agua Viva’ is a word meaning ‘living water’ or ‘jellyfish’ taken from Clarice Lispector’s book. Inaha, the 2023 Grand Prize winner, wants to show a free world with ‘no framework’, that is, a world without a structure that forces a specific form, through ‘Agua Viva’.

AG Gallery, sponsored by Anguk Pharmaceutical and operated by Anguk Cultural Foundation, selects six artists every year through the AG New Artist Award Contest to discover and support new artists. Selected artists are members and can receive support for ongoing exhibitions and purchase of works.
