For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a fan of…simplicity. This was probably the main reason I chose – among dozens smartwatches- to invest in the new Huawei Watch Fit 3. From the first moment I put it on, I was pleasantly impressed by its extremely youthful, square and slim design, which allowed me to almost forget that I have a 24-hour wearable on my wrist.
Simplifying processes with… style
I had used smartwatches from the Chinese giant in the past and I was sure that the new launch would not just be a gadget that fits into the company’s Fashion Forward philosophy, but would provide upgraded functions that would help me achieve my personal goals – as much as the duration of exercise as well as health monitoring. And indeed, I came out real. Only this time, the experience exceeded expectations. HUAWEI Watch Fit 3 is a “smart” watch that literally upgraded my daily life, initially simplifying processes such as playing music, exchanging messages, quick replies, weather information, etc. It is a high tech gadget that I never part with, since it offers me the ability to easily change straps, thanks to the “Press-to-release” design, and to easily adapt it to the style that each occasion requires. In the mornings at the office I usually choose the soft leather strap, which gives me the necessary flexibility I need at work, while in the afternoon walks with friends I “transform” my favorite smartwatch with the strap made of gray nylon jacquard fabric.
Who said lightweight isn’t… miraculous?
One of the main advantages of the Watch Fit 3 is definitely its minimal weight and ultra-light 1.82-inch AMOLED 2.5D screen, with a screen-to-body ratio of 77.4%, with a 10% increase in screen area for an expanded visual experience with a maximum brightness of 1500nits. Even in places where the light is scarce, I can see perfectly, while its large battery freed me from the stress of constant charging, which until now often forced me to leave my smartwatch at… home.
One smartwatch that “sabotages” bad habits
And while during working hours, the Watch Fit 3 certainly frees up my hands, as I don’t need to walk around with my mobile in my hand to see my notifications or emails, the real party starts when I get home in the afternoon!
As is often the case, ahead of summer I am also trying to get into an exercise and diet plan. Those of you who have tried it know that the process is not always easy, especially when everyone else around me is eating sweets and puff pastry every day. In the new HUAWEI smartwatch, however, I found a real “advisor” that keeps me alert, since I can easily monitor my progress, count calories and find the courage to continue eating healthy the next day. The upgraded Stay Fit app works – without exaggeration – as a personal trainer, helping to manage weight. It has an up-to-date global database of dietary calories in 50 countries and provides nutritional analyzes to promote a balanced diet and exercise. Especially on days when I get carried away and can’t get up from the sofa, the “Smart suggestion” of the watch comes to my senses, suggesting types of exercise adapted to my habits, but also to the weather conditions.
“Killing” the routine with hundreds of training sessions
If you’re a stickler for routine like me, you’ll definitely appreciate the fact that the HUAWEI Health app offers over 660 workout classes, including exclusive fat-burning sessions designed by top global fitness & lifestyle influencer, Pamela Reif. I was also pleasantly surprised by the 5 new sports modes, supported by HUAWEI TruSport – including padel, which is a sport that often fills my weekend.
Putting sleep under… control with Huawei Watch Fit 3
Another thing that impressed me while studying the smartwatch’s performance over a 24-hour period is how accurate it is in tracking sleep, thanks to the latest HUAWEI TruSleep 4.0 scientific sleep tracker and the new Sleep Breathing Awareness feature that helped me sleep better and knowing the next morning that everything is under control. In addition, HUAWEI WATCH FIT 3 integrates HUAWEI TruSeen 5.5 for improved heart rate tracking accuracy, while the new menstrual cycle calendar function offers useful information at a glance, making it easier to manage my health and daily life. Of course, I don’t take it off in my sleep! There’s no need, since it’s so comfortable and light that I barely feel it…
