265 horsepower for the new generation

The Czech manufacturer lifts the veil on the second generation of the Škoda Kodiaq RS, which now borrows the engine from the Volkswagen Golf GTI!

The new Skoda Kodiaq RS abandons the diesel and now offers a four-cylinder gasoline engine with 265 horsepower.

Athletic style

Always available in 5 or 7 seatsthe second generation of the Škoda Kodiaq RS is distinguished on the outside by shiny black style elements : grille surround, exterior mirror shells, window surrounds, roof rails and rear pillars, not forgetting specific front bumper inserts, also painted black.
The light signature is completed at the front by a illuminated grilleas well as the two rear lights connected by a reflector extending across the entire width of the stern. The Škoda, Kodiaq and RS logos are also coated in black, while the rear bumper and side skirts are painted in body color.
The exterior styling is also complemented by twin bright aluminum tailpipes at the rear, as well as exclusive 20-inch “Elias” alloy wheelswith a polished black finish. The specific braking system is distinguished by ventilated discs at the front and rear, two-piston calipers at the front (on the seven-seater version), as well as red-painted calipers. The Kodiaq RS personalization palette includes eight paints, one solid color and seven metallic, including one paint exclusive to the Kodiaq: “Havana Gold”.

Škoda Kodiaq RS: a 265-horsepower four-cylinder gasoline engine

Inside, there is a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13-inch central touchscreen with GPS navigation as standard. Two atmospheres are available: “RS Lounge”, which includes sports seats with integrated headrests, and black suede/synthetic material upholstery with red stitching, as well as the “RS Suite” option, which is distinguished by leather upholstery. Black perforated leather/synthetic material with red stitching.
The front seats are electrically adjustable and have a memory function, the roof lining is black, while the dashboard, door panels and central armrest are covered in black suede. There is also a 3-spoke “RS” sports steering wheel with red stitching, an aluminum-look pedal assembly, as well as front door sills marked “Kodiaq”.
Under the hood, the diesel engine of the first generation gives way to the four-cylinder gasoline engine of the Golf GTI: the 2.0 liter TSI EVO of 265 horsepower and 400 Nm of torquesent to the four-wheel drive via a 7-speed DSG double-clutch gearbox. The performances are there with a 0 to 100 km/h swallowed in 6.3 seconds (6.4 seconds on the 7-seater version), for a maximum speed of 231 km/h.

Orders for the new Škoda Kodiaq RS will be open in France by end of year 2024.
