43.93 PERCENT MTV INCREASE HAS BEEN OFFICIAL
The Inheritance and Transfer Tax Law General Communiqué, Motor Vehicle Tax General Communiqué, Fees Law General Communiqué and Income Tax General Communiqué of the Revenue Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance were published in yesterday’s duplicate issue of the Official Gazette. Accordingly, the taxes, fees and other fixed amounts to be applied in 2025 were announced by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. The revaluation rate for 2024 was 43.93 percent and was announced in November with the Tax Procedure Law General Communiqué. The President’s power of reduction was not used in any of the SCT and tax rates, including MTV. Thus, the MTV increase rate in the new year became official as 43.93 percent.

LIMIT ON DISABLED VEHICLES 2.9 MILLION TL
The income tax deduction amounts benefited by disabled citizens were also increased by the revaluation rate. According to the Income Tax Law, a part of the income of disabled citizens who earned wage income and self-employment income was excluded from tax through disability discount. Monthly tax deduction amounts applied to disabled citizens were increased at the revaluation rate.
