According to the statement made by the Ministry, the circular titled “29 October Republic Day” signed by the Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin was sent to 81 provinces.
The circular emphasized national unity and solidarity, and pointed out the importance of conveying the values that glorify the nation’s struggle for independence and sovereignty and strengthen national unity and solidarity, stronger and deeper than ever before, in line with the Turkey Century vision as the Republic enters its 101st year.

According to the circular, the week of October 28-November 1 will be considered as “Republic Week” and in this context, students will be shown the movie “Our Lesson is Towards the Republic” in the first lesson on October 28 in schools and institutions at all levels affiliated with the Ministry.
The movie “Our Course is True to the Republic” consists of the cinematographic version of the theater play “Towards the Republic”, which is about the founding epic of the Republic and prepared by the Ministry.
In addition, all schools will prepare programs that reflect the importance of the 29 October Republic Day, care will be taken to include martyrs’ relatives and veterans in these programs, and they will be equipped with Turkish flags.
