Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-7 arrested 3 drug dealers including two women with 3 thousand 710 pieces of yaba, 10 kg of ganja in anti-narcotics operation in Chittagong.
A press release sent by RAB-7 informed that they were arrested in separate operations in Feni Mohipal and Hathazari areas of Chittagong district on Tuesday (November 26).
The arrested are Md. Palash Khandkar (26), Reshma Khatun (19), and Baby Begum (53).
According to the RAB notification, Baby Akhtar, who was arrested while trying to escape, was arrested by a raiding party in Hathajari police station bus stand Jatrichauni area of Chittagong on the news that drugs were being sold in the area. Later 3 thousand 710 pieces of yaba were seized from his custody.
On the other hand, based on tip-off, District Feni conducted a raid in Mohipal area and arrested Reshma Akhtar and Palash Khandkar. RAB recovered 10 kg of ganja from their custody.
