30-member body of young woman found in fridge in India

Police recovered the 30-part body of a 26-year-old woman from a refrigerator in a flat in Bengaluru, the capital of the southern Indian state of Karnataka.

The brutal incident took place in Bangalore’s Balikaval area on Saturday.

It is known that the deceased young woman lived in that one-room flat. The body parts were recovered after neighbors alerted the police after smelling a stench from the flat.

Bengaluru West Additional Police Commissioner Satish Kumar said, ‘It seems that the body parts have been in the fridge for several days. The body has been identified. He lived alone in Bangalore. But his home is in another state.’

Satish Kumar also said that the preliminary investigation revealed that the incident did not happen today. Who is involved in this murder is being investigated. He said that more information will be available after the investigation.

Earlier, 27-year-old Shraddha Walker was killed in Delhi in 2022 by her boyfriend Aftab Amin Punewala. Shraddha’s body was cut into 35 pieces. Aftab then threw the pieces of the body in the nearby forest.
