31-year-old serial killer who killed stray animals arrested – different

The 31-year-old man allegedly responsible for the murders of stray animals in Volos was arrested today, Wednesday, October 2.

As the website TheNewspaper.gr reports, the arrest of the perpetrator took place in the afternoon, while a manhunt was conducted throughout the city to locate him, since the authorities had evidence that helped them identify him.

According to information, the 31-year-old is known to the authorities, as he has been arrested in the past for drug use and theft.

On Friday, because the courts are closed on Thursday, the 31-year-old is going to go to prison for a small amount of cannabis and a knife found in his home at the time of the arrest, but also for the murder of the cat, which he killed in a central area of ​​Volos on Monday.

The action of the serial killer of strays

The perpetrator last week attacked a dog with a sharp object at the junction of Spyridis and Karaoli streets, causing his death, while on Monday September 30, in a relatively busy area, a cat was found stabbed.

For the cat’s murder, the perpetrator’s movements are recorded on video from security cameras, which is in the possession of the police.

The perpetrator is seen in the video wearing a hood and ambushing the kitten on Agios Nikolaos Street. He approaches it, feeds it to calm it down and then fatally wounds it with a sharp object. He runs in shock to save himself, but eventually he ends up.

“He was the mascot of our neighborhood. We fed it, we took care of it. This chose us and never caused any problem,” said the owner of the store, outside of which the cat was found stabbed, speaking to the website taxydromos.gr.

Complaints reached the same news outlet, talking about at least 10 incidents in the last two weeks, involving three dogs and seven cats.
