DAPURPACUID – The 2024 Honda Bikers Day (HBD) event, which brings together 31,770 bikers throughout Indonesia, will be held on 4 large islands, namely Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and culminating on the island of Java on Saturday (26/10) at Dodiklatpur Kodam IV Diponegoro Klaten, Central Java .
HBD has always been an attraction for bikers during its 13 implementation. Entitled “Soundtrack of Brotherhood”, HBD 2024 unites generations of Honda motorbike users in celebrating togetherness while enjoying music and celebrating bikers’ pride ceremonies.
This year, HBD also unites Honda bikers from thousands of communities from all over Indonesia. HBD visitors can also see directly various large Honda automatic products accompanied by a range of other Honda motorbikes, various official Honda motorbike apparel and accessories.
The peak HBD event in Klaten completes the 3 HBD events that have been present since early October 2024. Starting on Sumatra Island on October 5 in Alam Mayang, Pekanbaru which was held by PT Capella Dinamik Nusantara and supported by all main dealers in the Sumatra region. The HBD event on Sumatra Island was able to bring together 2,176 bikers.
HBD then greeted 3,485 bikers on Kalimantan Island which was held at Murjani Field, Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan on October 12 2024. The second series of HBD 2024 was held by PT Trio Motor as the main dealer for Honda motorbikes in the South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan Regions.
The third HBD event was held on Sulawesi Island at Akbecause Beach, Makassar. This event succeeded in creating a warm atmosphere among 3,952 bikers. This third HBD was held by Astra Motor South Sulawesi as the Main Dealer for Honda motorbikes in the South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi and South Ambon regions.
The peak of the HBD event on the island of Java was held in Klaten, Central Java with the strong support of Astra Motor Yogyakarta on October 26 2024. A total of 22,157 bikers from various regions and communities united in love and a spirit of brotherhood to enliven the biggest gathering of Honda bikers in Indonesia.
Big Scooter
This year’s HBD event is also a moment for big Honda PCX scooter lovers to celebrate togetherness between bikers through touring together, as did 1,600 Honda PCX bikers in South Sulawesi and Yogyakarta when touring to enjoy various tourist areas before heading to the HBD event. On the island of Java, Honda PCX bikers toured together enjoying the beauty of the city of Yogyakarta before gathering with tens of thousands of other bikers at the peak of the HBD 2024 event.
AHM General Manager Marketing Planning & Analysis Andy Wijaya said that HBD is a momentum for motorbike users to celebrate togetherness and strengthen ties of brotherhood.
“For 13 years, Honda Bikers Day has been a gathering place for tens of thousands of bikers throughout the country who celebrate their love of Honda motorbikes, while strengthening brotherhood and unity in a warm and joyful atmosphere. “Love for others is also expressed in a variety of activities that are beneficial to the surrounding community,” said Andy.
In the spirit of togetherness, HBD 2024 also manifests its concern for the surrounding community by handing over educational donations worth IDR 50 million to the Ar Rahman Orphanage and Al Hikmah Orphanage located in Yogyakarta. It is hoped that this assistance can support teaching and learning activities and the welfare of the nation’s next generation fostered by the two orphanages.
The togetherness of Honda bikers in HBD 2024 also has a positive impact on the community, especially MSMEs involved in the event and around the event, so that thousands of bikers can contribute to improving the economy of the area where the event is held.
Not only gathering and staying in touch, bikers who attend every HBD event are offered various activities such as individual and group games, enlivening bikers stalls, bikers e-sport competitions, and bikers doing karaoke. The series of fun activities also featured stand up comedy from each region and the Cosplay Walk Competition. Typical biker activities such as weekend touring are also included in the series of activities in HBD 2024.
The implementation of HBD 2024 on 3 islands and the highlight of the event in the city of Klaten, Central Java can be held well and full of excitement typical of Honda bikers thanks to the support of various parties, including main dealers and the Honda community throughout Indonesia, MSMEs in the event area, sponsors, and various elements of society which supports holding a grand gathering of tens of thousands of Honda motorbike lovers.
