Rosemary for headaches
The rosemary constitutes a safe bet to fight against migraine caused in particular by the cold. Boil a handful of rosemary in a liter of water and pour into a large cup.
Cover your head with a towel and inhale the vapors for as long as you can. Repeat the operation until the headache is dissipated (but in principle, the effect is rapid).
Lavender for headaches
The use of lavender in aromatherapy promotes relaxation, and thus allows relieve migraines.
For this, you can pour a few drops oflavender essential oil in a hot bath.

Mint, used in candies and toothpaste, is known for its ultra refreshing taste. This is not its only quality: mint also benefits from a certain number of medicinal virtues. It has a calming effect, and is often used to treat depression, anxiety, tension and… headaches.
Its benefits are so powerful that simply breathing in the aroma of a cup of hot mint tea can help you relieve pain. So steep your tea bag in boiling water for 10 or 15 minutes, cover your cup a little and enjoy!
Another solution, boil a small saucepan of hot water, then, after removing the saucepan from the heat source, add 10 drops of mint essential oil. Cover your head with a towel and lean over the steaming water, inhaling deeply for 10 minutes.
You can apply a very small amount of peppermint oil to your temples, massaging gently and taking care not to apply the oil near your eyes.
More herbs for headaches
Another essential oil has a very effective effect against headaches: wintergreen essential oil which, mixed with St. John’s wort vegetable oil, have a rapid effect.
