4 natural remedies to relieve headaches

You can also pour 3 cups of boiling water into a large bowl. Add 2 to 4 drops of lavender essential oil. Cover your head and neck with a towel then inhale the steam.

You can also diffuse lavender in an essential oil diffuser or apply a small drop to your palms, rub your hands together, then inhale the scent. Avoid contact with eyes.

Cinnamon for cold headaches

Another solution, boil a small saucepan of hot water, then, after removing the saucepan from the heat source, add 10 drops of mint essential oil. Cover your head with a towel and lean over the steaming water, inhaling deeply for 10 minutes.

You can apply a very small amount of peppermint oil to your temples, massaging gently and taking care not to apply the oil near your eyes.
