At the Romanian-Bulgarian border: 11 road-specific border crossing points: Giurgiu, Vama Veche, Ostrov, Negru Vodă, Lipnița, Dobromir, Bechet, Calafat, Călăraşi, Zimnicea and Turnu Măgurele, 3 with rail specifics: Giurgiu, Negru Vodă and Calafat and 7 specific ports: Călărași, Oltenita, Giurgiu, Zimnicea, Turnu Măgurele, The ship and Bechet.
At the Romanian-Hungarian border: 12 road-specific border crossing points: Nădlac, Nădlac II, Turnu, Vărșand, Salonta, Borș, Borș II, Valea lui Mihai, Săcuieni, Petea, Urziceni and Cenad and 5 with rail specifics: Carei , Curtici, Salonta, Bishopric of Bihor and Valea lui Mihai.
On the inner Danube: 2 with specific port: Cernavodă and Brăila.
All persons, regardless of nationality, will be able to cross borders without stopping at control booths for document verification.
However, border guards will carry out random checks within 30 kilometers of the border, using mixed teams and mobile screening devices. Travelers must still carry valid travel documents.
