42 illegal workers discovered, fined 150,000 KM

SARAJEVO – Tax inspectors carried out 64 controls in the territory of the Federation of BiH /FBiH/ and on that occasion discovered 42 undeclared workers, sealed 14 facilities, and issued 64 misdemeanor orders with fines totaling 150,000 KM.

In these controls, 35 taxpayers who did not record turnover using a fiscal device, three taxpayers who did not have a fiscal device installed and five facilities that did not have a work permit issued by the competent authority were discovered, the Tax Administration of FBiH announced.

Inspectors from the cantonal tax offices of Mostar, Novi Travnik, Zenica, Ljubuški and Goražde participated in the actions that were carried out from July 23 to 27, and included taxpayers who perform various service activities.

Controls were carried out during the working day, but also on weekends in the afternoon and at night, in order to check compliance with the Law on Fiscal Systems and the employment of undeclared workers.
