We recently informed you that the iPhone 16 series supports MagSafe wireless charging with a maximum power of 25 watts. In the meantime, information related to wired charging has appeared on the web.
The latest reports coming from China suggest that this year’s models will feature wired charging at a maximum power of 45 watts.
This information was found in the China Quality Certification Center certificate issued by Chinese regulatory authorities.
Last year’s models could be charged at a maximum power of 29 watts, but no iPhone in history has exceeded 30 watts.
