Hyundai is recalling 49,719 Santa Fes built between December 2023 and July 2024 because the floor wiring harness can come in contact with the hinge of the second-row seats, which could cause damage to the harness that could make the airbags to activate unintentionally or not to activate in the event of an accident.
In the recalled cars, Hyundai engineers will inspect and properly secure the wiring harness, and in cases where the harness is damaged or worn, it will be replaced with a new one free of charge.
