The MôjAndroid.sk portal, in cooperation with the 4ka operator, is launching the fourteenth year of the 4ka Android Code 2024 survey. It is a nationwide competition for the best Android applications from Slovakia. Also this year, developers could submit their applications to the survey in eight categories and thus join the best applications in Slovakia.
Anyone could nominate the application
Slovak developers could register their applications directly on the site Androidcode.sk. The basic condition for the nomination is that the application has at least one update in the Google Play store from the beginning of the year to the start of voting. Apps compete in the following eight categories:
- Education
- News and media
- Shopping and selling
- Transport
- Games
- Finance and business
- Slovak applications (in general)
- World Slovak applications
How were the applications selected for the finals?
First of all, we collected all Slovak applications that we found in the Google Play store. The condition was that they had at least one update this year. We supplemented these applications with those submitted by developers to the competition. This is how a list of applications was created, from which we then created a shortlist of nominations for the final vote.
When choosing, we looked at the app’s rating in the Google Play store, the number of downloads and how many users rated the app. We combined this data with personal experiences with applications and came to the final selection, from which you are now choosing the best Slovak applications. In each category, 6 finalists were chosen, with the exception of the Slovak applications category, where up to 9 finalists won space.
Among the nominated applications within the partnership are 4ka TV and Moja 4ka, which can also be voted for.
Win a Google Pixel 9
Readers and fans of the MyAndroid.sk website have the opportunity to vote and choose their favorite applications in the Android Code poll for the fourteenth time. Voting takes place on the Androidcode.sk website from 11/19/2024 to 12/31/2024. The applications that receive the most votes from readers will win.
We have also prepared an interesting incentive for the voters, which is a brand new Google Pixel 9 smartphone. This will be given to one lucky winner who will take part in the poll.
