At writing an autobiography of HC Andersen is quite a feat, when you now know that the great fairytale poet has written one himself, even as many as three times. But Jesper Wung-Sung, who is good at crawling under other people’s clothes, has dared the fur.
“Then I was born”, begins his ‘Hans Christian’ after a few rants. And then comes a performance in three acts consisting of 57 scenes. Thus we have reached Copenhagen with the 14-year-old. He has just moved into a couple of the nice homes. However, no one has taken the bait yet. When we leave him, he is sitting on a bed with a sex worker in his aunt’s brothel.
