In my opinion, it is extremely important to express gratitude when they do well, and not just shower the developers with selected online hate.
Saturn is an isometric sci-fi RPG. In the story, people have mastered the solar system by sending robotic avatars called “reflections” to the planets and their satellites. But a certain signal from space seizes control of all the machines. We play as the scientist Akim Kovalev, who has to save humanity in 3 days. Duration of the game is 8-9 hours.
The game is being made by St. Petersburg studio Ninsar.Games, which employs developers who participated in the creation of Divinity: Original Sin 2 and Baldur’s Gate 3.
The result is a visually very pleasing game, which also has an interesting plot. You get additional pleasure from the setting. Events take place in the very near future, and the player is allowed to walk through the beautiful Russia of the future.
Well, the coolest thing is that the game will soon be released on Android and iOS. And then I will go through it entirely. I’ve only played for about an hour so far. But, unfortunately, there is sorely not enough time to sit down in the evening and launch the game on a laptop. And so I sat here for an hour at the traffic police station waiting for documents and would have been very happy to play.

I’ve raved a lot about Digma Pro laptops in the past year. The quality of workmanship was pleasantly surprising. And he even pestered the company with the question of whether they would make laptops with discrete video cards. They promised they would, but haven’t done it yet.
But the gaming laptop was released by OSIO. And she did it so well that other manufacturers will have a hard time. Of course, it’s a bit of a pity that in the maximum configuration there is only RTX 4050 graphics. However, it is enough to comfortably play Baldur’s Gate 3. And if this game is running, then the rest will work perfectly.
However, Osio CyberLine C160i impressed with its thoughtfulness. In inexpensive laptops, manufacturers usually prefer to make mistakes. The more valuable is the OSIO approach. I’ll tell you what impressed me:
- There is a built-in battery charge limiter. This is a must-have for gaming laptops, and many manufacturers neglect it. On Dell and HP, for example, this feature is extremely rare.
- It is possible to completely disable discrete graphics and use only integrated graphics. And the laptop works for 6 hours instead of 2 hours (50% screen brightness + Wi-Fi). And this is already time with which you can live.
- Screen frequency is 165 Hz with Full HD resolution. Plus the screen itself has a brightness of 400 nits and a matte finish. Here OSIO are great for giving 400 nits. In entry-level gaming laptops that do not have OLED screens (and even where there are), manufacturers like to limit the brightness to 250-300 nits, citing the fact that gamers still sit at home with the curtains closed.
- High quality components. The same SSD flies. By the way, the board has a slot for installing a second SSD. And this is good, because initially the laptop comes with 512 GB: I installed Cyberpunk, Baldur’s Gate, PUBG, Genshin Impact, and Windows immediately said that it was too small.
- My respect for the keyboard: it has a full-fledged layout for productive office work. While testing, I used a laptop for Excel and text documents.
- OSIO insists that it thoroughly tests its products for defects, has established service centers throughout the country and a 24-hour hotline for any questions, including “how to install the game.”
The only objective disadvantage I can highlight is that the laptop is noisy. Coolers operate at 6 thousand revolutions per minute. The manufacturer tells you what cool speakers he installed in the laptop, but you need to play with noise-canceling headphones that will filter out the noise. However, in basic mode the laptop is silent, so you can watch movies.
I can also find fault a little with the choice of processor. Instead of 12th generation Intel, I would prefer AMD. Then the battery life would definitely increase to 7-8 hours.
This development makes me happy, because in about a year I’m mentally preparing to pay 350-400 thousand for a gaming laptop. And by that time, maybe the same OSIO will release a top-end video card, which will cost 1.5 times less.
Apple Mac Mini (M4)

The Mac Mini on M4 is an example of a versatile home computer that can be used for everything. The first PC tests are already starting to appear here. What’s most impressive here is the difference in consumption. The PC was connected to a 320 W adapter, and the “mini” consumes no more than 46 W.
Well, in everyday tasks, the Mac Mini’s performance is even more impressive. Moreover, if you look at the price in dollars ($599 for the 16/256 GB version), then there are no competitors. PCs with x86 processors will not provide this level of performance.
Apple, of course, is a cunning and a little sneaky company. I can’t think of any other words for someone who is releasing a PC in 2024 with a soldered 256 GB drive. I also want to ask who the genius in the corporation is that placed the power button on the bottom panel of the PC. On the other hand, the mini has three Thunderbolt 4 ports (40 Gbps speed), so you can always connect a fast external SSD.
You probably need to buy a Mac Mini on the gray market, where the basic model can be purchased for 75,000 rubles, and the 512 GB version is 10 thousand more expensive.
Well, for the 90 thousand rubles that are asked for a minivan in official retail, it makes no sense to take it.
Infinix Zero Flip 5G
Over the past month I have been actively getting acquainted with the folding phone. And I collected a few thoughts.
Firstly, Samsung’s approach of strictly limiting the list of applications available on the external screen is completely outdated. The large external screen is convenient. And it’s absolutely perfect for watching shorts. Here you can still praise either Infinix or the keyboard developers, but the screen makes it convenient and accurate to type text.
Secondly, Infinix (or TECNO, since this smartphone is almost a complete clone of the Phantom V Flip2) has great engineers. They managed to make a convenient hinge that is precisely fixed in any position. And the opening angle is even greater than that of Samsung flips.
Thirdly, quite good performance, which allows you to comfortably play any games.
Fourthly, I realized that I was definitely not the target audience. At least for now. The fact is that I’m simply tired of opening my smartphone back and forth. At first it seems cool: they say, this is how technological everything is. And then you get tired of it. I had a similar feeling last time when I tested the “fold” from Tecno and the “flip” from Oppo. But then I thought it was just out of habit. And here I have been diligently testing for more than a month, but the feeling does not go away. Perhaps everything will change when manufacturers figure out to build in a spring so that the smartphone opens itself when you press a button.
Fifthly, the folding smartphone format itself is convenient. Especially in the subway, when there are a lot of people around, you stand there and do everything on the external screen. But there are no unique features that would radically change the user experience. In the same subway, I’m ready to push everyone aside with my elbows so that it’s convenient to hold a smartphone in a regular form factor with both hands.
