Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has been deployed in 4 platoons in Dhaka and 6 platoons in Chittagong to maintain law and order situation.
On Tuesday (November 26) morning, the public relations officer of the BGB headquarters said. Shariful Islam informed this information.
He said that 4 platoons of BGB have been deployed in Shahbagh, Matsya Bhavan and Hotel Intercontinental areas of Dhaka. At the same time, 6 platoon BGB members will be responsible for maintaining law and order situation in Chittagong city.
Earlier on Monday, 6 platoons of BGB were deployed in Jatrabari and Demra areas of Dhaka in connection with the clash between students of some colleges.
