According to the statement made by Mardin Police Department, a study was carried out against illegal betting by the Cyber Crimes Department teams.
A simultaneous operation was carried out against the identified suspects in Mardin’s central Artuklu and Istanbul’s Küçükçekmece districts.
16 suspects were caught during the operation.
During the searches carried out at the suspects’ addresses, unlicensed guns, bullets, many mobile phones, laptops and tablets determined to have been used in the crime were seized.
5 of the suspects were released after being processed at the police station.
6 of the 11 suspects who were referred to the courthouse were arrested by the judgeship, and 5 were released on condition of judicial control.
