The new limited edition kO-R1 horn speaker from Klipsch and Ojas combines outstanding craftsmanship and innovative technology for audiophile perfection.
Klipsch and Ojas have teamed up to create an extraordinary product: the limited edition kO-R1 horn speaker. This Multicell-Hornlautsprecher is intended to combine proven loudspeaker technology with modern technology and minimalist aesthetics.
Handcrafted perfection and noble materials
The kO-R1 is manufactured in a limited edition by skilled craftsmen at the Klipsch factory in Hope, Arkansas. Its casing is made of 13-ply glued Baltic birch wood, a material known for both its durability and aesthetic quality.
The striking one sandgegossene Aluminium-Multicellhorn offers precise sound radiation and gives the speaker a distinctive look. The kO-R1 is available in two versions: “Spiral Red Oak” and “Pewter Gray”, each with a matt black horn.
Advanced sound technology
The kO-R1 uses Klipsch’s most advanced horn technology, refined over decades. One of the outstanding functions is the “five-step high-frequency gain attenuator“, which is intended to make it possible to tailor the sound precisely to individual hearing needs.
In addition, according to Klipsch and Oja anodized aluminum connection terminals and anti-vibration rubber feet for optimal sound quality and minimize annoying distortion.
Collaboration at the highest level
The collaboration between Roy Delgado, a renowned Klipsch engineer, and Devon Turnbull, founder of Ojas, has made it possible to combine almost a century of audiophile research and engineering into one product.
Delgado, known for his expertise in horn speaker technology, played a central role in the development of the kO-R1. Turnbull’s minimalist design and passion for highly efficient speakers make the kO-R1 a unique model.
Exclusivity and collector value
Every kO-R1 is unique. A laser-engraved metal plaque identifies each unit, making it a collector’s item. Buyers will also receive a high-quality book that documents the history of the kO-R1 from the idea to production.
In addition, the speaker is made with specially manufactured Klipsch KS-12 speaker stands delivered that ensure optimal presentation and height.

Klipsch + Oja kO-R1: availability and price
The kO-R1 is available through the Ojas store and at select authorized Klipsch retailers. The price is at US$8,498 per pair. Unfortunately, it is not yet known whether and at what price the kO-R1 will also be available in Germany.
