Social media discusses Sandu’s reaction to the earthquake on live TV
An earthquake measuring 5.2 struck Moldova during a live broadcast by President Maia Sandu on local television. The video captured the head of state’s reaction to the tremors, while the presenter expressed hope that it was a “good omen.”
As Sputnik Moldova notes, social media users have begun to actively comment on what happened.
“The most popular one so far is ‘The chair rocked under the lady’,” writes agency.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the earthquake’s epicenter was lying in Romania.
