In order for the defense on Margit Island to be undisturbed, from 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning, only vehicles participating in the defense may enter the protected zone of the island, and pedestrian traffic will also be restricted (for now only in the southern part of the island).

The National Directorate General of Water Resources expects the tide to peak at roughly 850 centimeters in the middle of the week. Level three flood preparedness is in effect in the affected areas.
