A feature exclusive to Pixels and Samsungs is coming to other Androids

When Google introduced the feature months ago Circle to Searchso she stated that for some time it will only be available for her Pixels and Samsung smartphones. According to the portal GSMArena this exclusivity is already ending.

Function Circle to Search was first introduced in 2023 and it’s basically a simple visual search. Its functionality is simple. Just circle the object you are interested in on the display and Google will search for it and display the necessary information. It is a combination of Google search and functions Google Lens.

After its launch, the feature was only available on selected devices Samsung and smartphones Pixel from Google. However, the latest information suggests that this exclusivity is coming to an end. For example, a Chinese manufacturer Tecno has already reportedly confirmed to multiple reviewers that their recently announced folding model Tecno V Fold 2 will get the Circle to Search feature within the next month.

Tecno is a marginal manufacturer in the Android smartphone market, so it can be assumed that larger Chinese brands such as Xiaomi, Vivo or Oppo they will not be left behind. Although it is not yet officially confirmed by Google, it is very likely that the exclusivity of Circle to Search will end and its implementation by other manufacturers will begin in October.
