The government will merge two regions as part of a major health reform

Fseveral times over the years, the saber has been swung against the five regions that run most of the healthcare system in Denmark. Now it seems that the country will no longer be divided into five, but into four regions.

Politiken learns that in its proposal for health reform, the government will merge Region Zealand and Region Hovedstaden into one large region. It will cover eastern Denmark and thus count almost half of the population. DR and TV2 experience the same.
