The building where the IT and transmission sections of the GNR Coastal Control Unit (UCC/GNR) operate, in Santos, Lisbon, was robbed by a man, who fled with at least 6 laptops.
The crime occurred in the early hours of August 16th and, you know what? CMthis building also houses the GNR Air Surveillance Detachment, which stores drones.
The thief broke down an armored door in the building to carry out the robbery, and it has not yet been replaced. Therefore, the commander of the UCC/GNR, Major General Jorge Bolas, ordered permanent military personnel, who had come from as far as Setúbal, to guard the building.
O CM did not receive, in a timely manner, responses to the questions put to the GNR about the crime.
