Radeon 880M Integrated GPU, 15% More Powerful Than 780M

ASUS has shared some performance data about its integrated graphics that will be offered with the latest generation RDNA 3.5 architecture providedAs you know, AMD’s upcoming Ryzen mobile processors will feature a new generation iGPU. The performance gains seem satisfactory, at least according to certain tests.

Inside the mobile CPU, called Ryzen AI 9 365, is an integrated GPU called the Radeon 880M, which is based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture. This GPU outperformed its predecessor, the Radeon 780M, in the Time Spy test. AMD has not previously compared the two chips. The chipmaker said at the Zen 5 Tech Day that the new Radeon 890M could outperform the 780M by 19% to 32%.

ASUS’ product listings show the difference between the 780M, which comes with 12 CUs, and the Radeon 880M, which also includes 12 CUs. While the difference is 15% in the Time Spy tests, there is not a big difference when compared to the 40W RTX 3050.

ASUS describes this integrated GPU as suitable for MOBA and FPS games. In fact, this GPU can be used to play games comfortably. Even AAA games can be given a chance at 1080p low/medium settings.
