From December 22, 2008 until October 1, 2009, he was the Minister of Education, Research and Innovation in the Boc Government. 3 years later, on July 2, 2012, he again became Minister of Education and Research, a position he held until December 21, 2012. The politician had a total of 4 terms as Minister of Education.
Throughout her career, Ecaterina Andronescu has written more than 186 scientific papers published in specialized journals at home and abroad, more than 60 national or international scientific research contracts (56 with direct responsibility), three books and an invention patent .
