RESPECT the rules of safe behavior on the water and follow the advice, because that’s the only way we’ll make this summer safe together, says the Ministry of Interior of Serbia.
Members of the Police Station for River Safety in Belgrade today visited unorganized swimming pools on the water area of the Sava River, in the area of Ada Međica, and pointed out to the citizens the importance of safe behavior on the water.
At the stand set up, police officers handed out flyers and provided instructions to citizens about staying safely at swimming pools, as well as the dangers and risks of staying at unorganized swimming pools.
Our colleagues, together with a member of the Association of Lifeguards on the Water of Serbia, advised citizens to always use organized swimming pools, which have lifeguards who can save their lives.
- Children in the water require constant attention!
- Never let them out of your sight!
- Don’t overestimate your swimming abilities!
- Boating is a special pleasure, but remember not to enter it without life-saving equipment!
