The first season of “Fallout” enjoyed huge acclaim from both viewers and critics. The series has been discussed non-stop, and a solid set of nominations for the upcoming Emmy Awards leaves no doubts. Critics also loved the series. Amazon is increasingly bold with original productions – and the great success of “The Boys” or “Fallout” undoubtedly gives it wind in its sails. When it comes to Fallout, the team has had a clear and distinct vision all along, so I can say that we already have the storyboards ready for Season 2. We set the bar for quality very high, so we will make sure that Season 2 is not only equal to Season 1, but even better! We have a plan that we are working on very quickly. I can’t give you an exact date, but I think everyone will be happy with how quickly we can get Season 2 back.
What exactly does this fast pace of work mean? Unfortunately, Sanders does not reveal this, but the fact that the series has been given priority and the entire team is to work hard on its production gives hope that everything will not be blurred and we will not have to wait for it for years – as is the case with many series in the current reality. The annual cycle, which we once knew from television productions, has ceased to apply in the world of VOD, which has both bright and dark sides.
The good side is undoubtedly the fact that creators have more time and freedom – thanks to which they can afford to refine everything. The bad side is testing the patience of viewers. And while the prolonged productions themselves are one thing, in recent years there have been many factors that no one had any influence on. From the world shutting down to the writers’ strike. None of them affected the punctuality and delivery of series on time.
