With summer in full swing and some people on holiday, it is essential to keep an eye on our children. On the beaches, with so many people, don’t take your eyes off your children. The PSP is offering identification bracelets for your children. Find out how to ask for one…
PSP Bracelet “I’m Here”
The PSP “I’m Here” bracelet was developed with high quality standards to allow it to be used in the most varied conditions and the fabric used is prepared to last up to 12 months without losing quality.
The bracelet was designed using zamak raw material and finished with copper and nickel plating. The inscription “Call/Liga 112” was engraved in low relief and the alphanumeric code was laser engraved. The bracelet is personal and non-transferable.
How do I order the bracelet?
Requesting the bracelet requires parents to fill in a set of relevant information: personal data, contact details for immediate contact in case the child gets lost and critical information, such as recurring medication, chronic illnesses or others.
This data is confidential and is intended solely for use by the authorities to promote the immediate reunion of the child with the parents. It is possible to carry out a Nominal request (ordering bracelets for your children) or Group (request made by an institution) - see here.
How does the bracelet work?
Whenever someone is found lost, they simply need to call the emergency number or a PSP police station, provide the alphanumeric code engraved on the bracelet and a patrol car will be immediately called and the family alerted. The bracelet has a two-year “useful life” and must be renewed in the database after this period.
The program is intended for children aged 2 to 10. However, an exception is made if the child is able to walk alone before the age of 2. To join the program or if it is necessary to change the bracelet, it is possible to do so on the website. The request can be made by the parents, or by an institution (schools, kindergartens, NGOs, after-school activities).
Bracelets must be ordered through I'm Here Program website!
