E-Land Foundation (Chairman Jang Gwang-gyu) announced that it conducted career education for youth preparing for independence on the 20th in cooperation with Love Beyond The Orphanage (LBTO), a non-profit organization for youth preparing for independence.
This training, held at the Inest building in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, was held under the name of ‘The 2nd Self-reliance Capacity Building Training of the Self-reliance Preparation Youth Support Association’, and around 30 self-reliance preparation youth of the 2030 generation participated.
This training was designed to help young people preparing for independence find their aptitude and establish their career outlook after completing their protection period and starting job activities.
The lecture was given by E-Land Foundation CEO Jeong Young-il, who has worked at E-Land for 35 years and has experience with both for-profit and non-profit corporations.
CEO Jeong Yeong-il explained the identity and attitude that should be maintained in the workplace based on his experience as CEO of Schofield, a subsidiary of E-Land, and the knowledge gained in the field. In particular, he used the ‘3M (Money, Meaning, Mission) theory’ of the Workplace Development Institute’s CEO, Bang Seon-gi, to convey the purpose and meaning of work.
E-Land Foundation CEO Jeong Yeong-il said, “We will develop the ‘E-YOUTH’ project to help underprivileged youth prepare for independence, and strive to help them grow into leaders of society.”
