All 20 episodes of the second season of Star Trek: Prodigy, already seen in the USA at the beginning of July, will be released at once on SkyShowtime.
SkyShowtime says that the second production season of the Star Trek: Prodigy series will also arrive in Finland in August. The highly rated season started in the USA on Paramount+ already on July 1st.
All 20 episodes of the second season of the Star Trek series aimed at younger viewers will be available on August 17. The episodes of the first season of the series are also still available only on SkyShowtime.
Created by Kevin and Dan Hageman (Trollhunters and Ninjago) and Alex Kurtzman’s Secret Hideout team, Star Trek: Prodigy is the first Star Trek series aimed at a younger audience.
The series follows a diverse group of young aliens who must learn to work together on their journey across the vast galaxy in search of a better future. In the second season, these six young outcasts of the Prodigy crew are given a new mission aboard the USS Voyager-A: to rescue Captain Chakotay (Robert Beltran) and restore peace to the homeworld of Gwyn (voiced by Ella Purnell). However, the plan goes wrong and a time paradox is created that threatens both their future and their past.
The voice actors of Star Trek: Prodigy also include Kate Mulgrew (hologram Kathryn Janeway), Brett Gray (Dal), Ella Purnell (Gwyn), Rylee Alazraqui (Rok Tahk), Angus Imrie (Zero), Jason Mantzoukas (Jankom Pog), Dee Bradley Baker (Murf), John Noble (Diviner) and Jimmi Simpson (Drednok).
Rounding out the second season’s voice cast are Robert Beltran (Captain Chakotay), Robert Picardo (Doctor), Jason Alexander (Doctor Noum), Daveed Diggs (Commander Tysess), Jameela Jamil (Ensign Asencia), Ronny Cox (Admiral Jellico) and Michaela Dietz (Maj’ el).
