Daejeon City announced that 365 city buses on 29 routes will be operated in a detour during the ‘Daejeon 0:00 Festival’ starting on August 7th.
The city buses that will make the detour are Express No. 1, 2, 4, 101, and 103, and they will make a detour to Daeheung-ro and Uam-ro from the first bus on August 7 to the last bus on the 17th.
To reduce inconvenience to passengers, the city plans to set up separate temporary boarding platforms for each route and provide bus arrival information through bus information terminals (BITs).
Additionally, volunteers are placed on platforms to help facilitate the movement of vulnerable passengers, such as the elderly and the disabled.
For detailed detour routes and temporary platform information, please refer to the Daejeon Transportation Information Center or the Daejeon 0:00 Festival website.
The Daejeon Metropolitan City Transportation Bureau Director Choi Jong-moon said, “If you are passing through a traffic-controlled area, please check the bus routes and detours in advance, and if possible, use public transportation when visiting the event site.”
Meanwhile, the Daejeon 0:00 Festival will be held from August 9 to 17 in the area around Jungang-ro, from Daejeon Station to the old South Chungcheong Provincial Office and the nearby downtown commercial district, with vehicle traffic completely restricted.
