The TecLab team worked on a new project, which they named RTX 4090 SUPER. The name can be confusing, as NVIDIA has never introduced such a card – and therein lies the catch.
According to the TecLab team, the RTX 4090 SUPER card is modified to such an extent that s the original 4090 from NVIDIA has almost nothing in common.
The main improvement is the memory borrowed from the RTX 4080 SUPER card. This model currently has the only memory speed of 23 Gb/sv base. Next, the team used the RTX 3090 Ti GALAX HOF PCB, which is known for its powerful GPU section and more importantly – it has a large overclocking headroom.
The modified card ended up scoring 17,454 points in the benchmark, which is a 39% increase. than NVIDIA’s 4090 base card achieved. This performance boost includes all sorts of overclocking and tweaking. Interestingly, however, just by changing the memory speeds, the overall measured performance increased by 13%.
