The Nintendo Switch 2 is one of the most anticipated consoles of today and certainly the electronics with which the largest number of different leaks are associated. Nintendo is constantly obfuscating, it is very stingy with information, and the console does not and does not come out. Another leak reveals the new Joy-Con controllers as well as the chipset used, which should be more advanced than expected.

One of the main elements of the Switch 2 console is supposed to be the redesigned controllers, which Nintendo calls Joy-Con. Photos of the new controllers have just appeared on the platform Redditand although their authenticity has not been confirmed, it has not been refuted either. The drivers look pretty legit and more or less match what previous leaks have suggested.
The controllers should have larger SL and SR buttons, which is really clearly visible at first glance, and a trigger next to the ZR button. It also looks like the Joy-Cons will be released in darker shades and it seems that black will be the predominant color instead of blue and red like the current controllers. In addition, the inner, colored part will not be visible after connecting to the console.

More modern than we expected
The second significant innovation in the new generation of the Switch console will be significantly higher performance, which will be provided by the new processor. The latest information from this morning has resurfaced also on the Reddit platformwhere fans were able to identify, based on photos of the motherboard, that it contains a chipset based on 5nm lithography.
It should be a chipset marked T239 from Nvidia, which is produced by Samsung on its lines, precisely with the 5nm production process. The chip itself has an area of 200 mm², contains allegedly 15 billion transistors and should support Nvidia’s DLSS technology. The performance of the new processor will certainly be on a completely different level than that of the outgoing Switch.
When will we finally see it?
There is still a lot of confusion surrounding the release date of the Nintendo Switch 2 console, and the Japanese video game giant has not yet officially confirmed anything. But the introduction should still take place in the current fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2025, and that would mean that the announcement is already around the corner. According to some informants, it could perhaps take place in the month of January.
