Razer Blade 16 2025, lightweight and the latest in hardware

The new Razer Blade 16 2025 that the high-performance firm has just presented at CES 2025, looks spectacular after the weight loss diet to which it has been subjected to improve its portability. Of course, “the thinnest Blade computer ever”, How do you promote Razer?does not penalize performance and releases the latest processing and graphics platforms from AMD and NVIDIA.

Razer Blade 16 2025: light, thin and the latest in hardware

A good example of a modern laptop for gaming (productivity, entertainment or whatever you want) that, in addition to performance, provides great mobility. Thinner than ever, its unibody chassis precision milled from a single block of aluminum and anodized for greater durability, it has a thickness of only 1,49 cm. It is not an ultraportable, but it is not bad for its screen size and the hardware it has.

Beyond the 32% reduction in thickness compared to the current model, the new Blade is based on a screen with 16 inch OLED panel and a native resolution of QHD+. Its refresh rate is 240Hz, which combined with an ultra-low 0.2ms response time, should make it a great laptop for all types of gaming. (Or other tasks as we said above).

Its internal hardware has been updated with the latest AMD processors presented at CES and specifically with Ryzen AI 9 HX 370., a CPU with 12 cores and 24 threads, capable of dealing with heavy workloads and intense gaming sessions. With a powerful neural processing unit (NPU) capable of up to 50 TOPS, the new processor gives users access to Copilot+ experiences, including powerful imaging tools with Cocreator, live translations when viewing international content with Live Captions, and Enhanced Windows Studio effects to enhance your presentations.

The graphics section is the responsibility of the latest generation of NVIDIA, with the GeForce RTX 5090 for laptopswith 12 GB of GDDR7 VRAM and up to 155W of maximum graphics power, as the star of the new Blade 16. No memory or storage capacity has been provided, but there will be plenty for all uses.

In addition to the redesigned chassis, Blade 16 features a new keyboard with a deeper travel distance of 1.5mm, for 50% more travel, and ~63 grams of actuation force for a more responsive overall writing experience. To provide faster access to key tools, the keyboard now features a row of five macro keys pre-assigned to various functions within Razer Synapse to easily switch based on the user’s needs, but can also be customized to open applications, change settings and more.

In addition to the new macro keys, the keyboard is completed with the new Copilot for Windows key, which gives users immediate access to the AI assistant to elevate their performance by speeding up their daily tasks. The laptop has been updated with a 6 speaker audio system optimized by THX audio professionals for a better experience and, we assume, also its connectivity with USB4, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

The new Razer Blade 16 2025 will pre-install Windows 11 and will be available in the first quarter of this year at RazerStore, select retail stores and on the web portal of the company.
