MSI is, along with ASUS, the manufacturer that sells the most gaming laptops. And few may be surprised seeing the display of both at CES. For the update, the company has combined the new NVIDIA graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 50 series, with the Intel Core Ultra Series 2, AMD Ryzen 9000 series or AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processors.

AI, Cooling and SSD

In addition to the latest generations of processing and graphics from the main players in the sector, MSI has highlighted the new overall cooling design and the particular one designed for Gen5 SSDs that you already know get hot (a lot) especially in laptops. MSI claims that this SSD cooling system reduces the maximum temperature of the units by up to 10 °C. This ensures stable performance, sustained high speeds, and reliable data transfer, even under heavy workloads.

To further increase storage performance, MSI has released a Super RAID 5, which combined SSD Gen 5 and Gen 4 for a truly impressive read speed of up to 18,000 Mbytes per second, ensuring smooth data access and ultra-fast loading times for the most demanding applications.

MSI has also announced its latest innovation for the artificial intelligence section. Is called Robot AI u has been developed in collaboration with NVIDIA. This cutting-edge AI assistant integrates a small, locally deployed language model directly into the system. With AI Robot, users can control their laptops through natural language commands, even without an Internet connection, providing a more intuitive way to configure and manage computers

Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Norse Myth

Spectacular model that leads MSI’s new laptops for CES 2025. It is a limited edition, inspired by the resistance of Norse mythology, with a surprising design with hand-drawn dragon motifs and Nordic runes. The 3D dragon and dragon ring on the palm rest are hand-drawn, combining elements of Norse myth such as the nine kingdoms and rune symbols to achieve “a sophisticated metallic shine, refined texture and a flawless vintage-inspired finish”, as the manufacturer highlights in the presentation.
