At CES 2025, Indian startup Ultrahuman created a stir by launching the world’s first series of luxury smart rings made of 18-carat gold and platinum. Named Ultrahuman Rare, these exclusive rings combine cutting-edge technology with premium materials to push the boundaries of wearables to a whole new level.

Three luxury Ultrahuman Rare rings

The Rare series includes three models of rings, two of which are coated with 18 carat gold from refineries approved by the London Bullion Market Association and certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards. The third model, called Desert Snow, is made of 95% pure platinum (pt950) and offers an elegant silver look. These 8 mm wide and 2.45 mm thick rings are not only an aesthetic accessory, but also a full-fledged health and fitness tool.

In addition to their luxurious appearance, these luxurious rings offer very advanced measurements of sleep, stress, movement, heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV) and skin temperature. The built-in battery lasts up to 6 days on a single charge and the device is waterproof to a depth of 100 meters. The rings sync with the Ultrahuman mobile app, which provides detailed health analysis and recommendations to improve overall well-being.

It targets the luxury jewelry market

With this step, Ultrahuman is trying to reach not only technology enthusiasts, but also the luxury jewelry segment, including the wedding market. The prices of the rings range from 45 to 55 thousand crowns, which is comparable to the price of a premium folding phone. This combination of elegance and functionality targets customers who are looking for a unique piece of jewelry with a practical use.

Rare’s rings will be available exclusively in London and Paris boutiques, with plans to expand to other cities such as New York, Milan, Dubai and India. With this step, Ultrahuman shows that innovations in the field of wearable technology can be not only functional, but also a stylish fashion accessory for demanding customers.

Ultrahuman wants the entire ecosystem

Ultrahuman profiles itself as an innovative leader in wearable technology focused on health and wellness. In addition to smart rings, its portfolio also includes sensors for monitoring metabolism (measurement of blood sugar) and applications for optimizing sleep and physical condition. The company’s goal is to connect cutting-edge technologies with the everyday life of users and offer them tools that help not only monitor health indicators, but also improve the overall quality of life.
