Yes, finally Samsung is ready to launch the series Galaxy Book5. Starting in February, the Galaxy Book5 Pro and Galaxy Book5 360 will be available in select markets, including Canada, France, Germany, the UK and the US. Unfortunately, there are currently no prices.
Samsung has already announced the Galaxy Book5 series – the 360 in September and the Galaxy Book5 Pro in December.
Now at this year’s CES the new Galaxy Book5 Pro is available for viewing and comes in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, with the larger supporting up to 25 hours of battery life. It will also charge up to 35% in 30 minutes thanks to a 65W charger. Up front is a 2X 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED display.
The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 offers a single 15-inch display option – an upgraded FHD AMOLED.
Both models feature Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors with NPUs delivering 47 Tera Operations per Second (TOP) with built-in Galaxy AI. Both have 16GB or 32GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB and 1TB of storage, and include quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Galaxy AI brings AI Select – similar to Circle to Search on Galaxy phones, it lets you search for anything on the laptop screen. There’s also a built-in Samsung Knox-enabled security chip that protects your data and ensures privacy.
At least so far Samsung’s Galaxy Book5 Pro and Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 are only equipped with Intel chips, they haven’t been announced Snapdragon X Elite models.
